Mushroomhead As dynamic and immense as any band in rock/metal, Mushroomhead has always shined through being an entity all their own. Be it the make up and costumes, or the vibrant performances on stage, Mushroomhead are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Artistic both visually and musically. In their latest offering, 'Volume 1', you get to see a side of the guys behind the get ups. Their stage personas set aside, you are introduced to a band/bunch of guys that are even more crazy off stage as they are on. This DVD was done completely by the band. It has a few of the professionally done videos as well as ones they have done themselves. The off show antics, mainly on the tour bus are hysterical. And you get to see them with out the costumes too. There are not a lot, or actually any interviews on this. It is not a documentary or history of the band. Just a lot of outtakes of a band out on the road living the rock-n-roll lifestyle and dream. Many, many live sequences on this DVD. Some very cool perspectives of the day to day life on the road antics by none other than the guys who are living it. Some tracks included are ," Before I Die, Kill Tomorrow, Becoming Cold(216), Sum Doesn't Rise". all footage is fairly recent and includes JMann and not their new front man Waylon. All is good though. A pretty cool DVD from the band that everybody loves to hate. Check out 'Volume 1' today. |
