By Paul Autry How can you go wrong watching the beautiful Deborah Harry for 30 minutes? You can't. Even if this video probably isn't the best performance Blondie has ever done, it's still one worth watching. Filmed in 1978, the stage is a playground for Deborah Harry, who belts out each song with the passion that made her famous. She's sexy, she's seductive, she's innocent and a little bit crazy. They way she presents herself on stage is enough to keep your eyes glued to the tv. I've always liked Blondie, but, I can't say that I know a whole hell of a lot about their career and what they released and when they released it. So, most of the songs presented here are ones I never heard until seeing this video..."I Didn't Have The Nerve," "Youth Nabbed As A Sniper," "Man Overboard," "Love At The Pier" and "Bermuda Triangle Blues (Flight 45)" are a few to mention. Eleven songs in all, 30 minutes, Deborah Harry in shorts and a very loose army style T-shirt...what more could you possibly ask for? |
