Judas Priest"Electric Eye" If you're a Judas Priest fan, this release is a must have addition to your collection. I don't need to write a review to tell you that either. All I need to do is let you know what's featured on this release and that will do the trick. The video section features such tracks as "Living After Midnight," "Breaking The Law," "Heading Out To The Highway," "You've Got Another Thing Coming," "Love Bites," "Locked In," "Turbo Lover," "Locked In," "Johnny B. Goode" and "Painkiller" to name a few. There's thirteen in all. Once your done going through the Judas Priest video collection, you can sit back and enjoy a nineteen song live performance, which features most of the songs mentioned above as well as "Out In The Cold," "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll," "Private Property," "Hellion/Electric Eye," "Parental Guidance" and "Hell Bent For Leather" to name a few. This concert performance was from the 1986 Fuel For Live Tour and, what can you really say about it...it's Judas Priest in all their metal glory. Finally, there's six television performances that give you a look at Judas Priest very early in their career. While I wasn't too fond of the song selection, it was still an interesting viewing experience. Featured in this section are "Rocka Rolla," "Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver," "Take On The World," "Evening Star," "Living After Midnight" and "United." The "Rocka Rolla" clip is from 1975 and it's interesting to see Judas Priest with a glam look. Also, Rob Halford has a full head of hair. There's another clip from 1975, two from 1979 and two from 1980. The best of the bunch, in my opinion, was "Living After Midnight," only because the other tunes aren't exactly any of my favorite Judas Priest tunes. Speaking of tunes, if you wanna know what song comes from what album, there's a complete Judas Priest discography on here to that you can check out. No interviews, no backstage pass, nothing like that. This release is nothing more than Judas Priest in action and that's more than enough material to sink your teeth into. Once again, if you're a Judas Priest fan, this is a must have addition to your collection, there's no question about it. I saw this release on the shelf for $15.00 and, for that price, there's no excuse for not having it. |
