Vomitory is one of Sweden's most vein rupturing bands, surfacing in '89 and remaining a incorruptible force to this day. This release "Blood Rapture" is most definitely my favorite to date by them. Brutalizing death metal vocals applied to every song by Erik Rundavist (also on bass). "Blessed & Forsaken", "Redeemed in Flames", "Eternity Appears", "Nailed & Quartered", & "Blood Rapture" shred. "Blood Rapture" captures the essence of extreme madness. "Blood Rapture" is infectious, great percussion. The only disappointment with this release is the cover art,  not enough graphic details for such a wonderful release. You should be nailed to the cross if you don't get Vomitory's "Blood Rapture".
