Michael Schenker

"Thank You 2"
(SPV)

By Paul Autry

This eleven song release, which has a running time of about 45 minutes, shows another side of Michael Schenker's guitar talents. Now, to be honest, something like this really isn't my cup of tea. I would much rather listen to his "Be Aware Of Scorpions" album under the MSG name. That album, in a word, rocked. On this release, there's no rock to be found. Instead, you get an acoustic/instrumental album that, like I said, shows another side of Michael's guitar talents. There's a good sound quality to this release, which makes for a more enjoyable listen and, as far as showing you how creative a rock 'n' roll guitarist can really be with a simple, acoustic guitar, well, Michael does that here. A quiet and refreshing album from a man who, with an electric guitar in his hand, usually makes a lot of hard rockin' noise. If you wanna disturb your next door neighbor, you won't be able to do it with this release, that's for sure. http://www.spvusa.com
