Syrens Call

Syrens Call is a French band that play long songs in the progressive
power metal gener. Vocalist Valerie Pauls' voice is amazing. And when
she rips her way through the emotion of KISS' "I Still Love You" and
drummer Sebbastein Pauls' toms hit the fills that propelled Eric Carr
into the forefront of that incarnation of KISS, I get goosebumps.
Guitarist Thibaut Coisne constructs his leads with emotion on this song
as well as tracks like "Secrets of the Seas." Bassist Eric Serre and
rhythm guitarist Stephane Thuriot round out this quintet. After several
listens, I am convinced that this band would be an excellent support
act
for a Dream Theater tour. They would give James LaBrie and the band a
run for their money.
