Salacious Gods |

Perhaps
it is the Netherlands? time to shine. I?ve heard a couple of really
great bands coming out of Holland, and Salacious Gods is at the top of
the list. This CD is simply outstanding. There are traces of early
black
metal, mixed with faster Marduk-type riffs, and on one piece,
"Twaeduster Facht" an organ fills the entire eardrum, giving the tune a
rich, medieval feeling. This recording is a collection of great songs.
Each one sounds different than the last. This is a huge bonus point in
my never-to-be humble opinion. I can?t stand it when every song sounds
like the last. And there are definitely tunes I?ll remember long after
I?ve put it away. Could Holland produce the next eruption of great
metal?
