Roadsaw

Take the best songs AC/DC ever recorded, strip out Malcom Young's
rhythm
guitar under Angus's solos and you get Roadsaw, a raunchy, Marshall amp
powered quartet. Guitarist Ian Ross powers this quartet with the right
blend of fuzzy distortion and interesting solos. The song titles may
remind you of a 80s band with its cocky disposition, such as "Your own
Private Slice of Hell" and the raunchy instrumental "That's Mr.
Motherfucker to you" but under the posing, you get quite a mix. The
aforementioned instrumental is probably left best as an instrumental as
it allows the organ of Eric Welsh to add a new element to the band,
which I like. The solo by Ross on this song fits the song well.
Overall,
I'd like to see more distinction between the tempo during the middle
section of the CD. Too many AC/DC-mid-tempo-"Back in Black" paced
rockers in a row.
