Hardcore metal on the Twin Cities label Root of All Evil. Lots of
chug-chug double-bass, especially on the best track "Crossing." The
guitars and bass lock in on several passages while the vocalist has the
traditional hardcore vocal style down to a capital H. One appealing
aspect of this band is that they introduce some of their songs with
clips from movies, similar to what Rob Zombie does on some of his
songs.
This either introduces the theme of the song or says something that the
song doesn't have time to share. This is the kind of band where you'll
either like their hostility, or you'll spend your time saying, "That
sounds like a Pro-Pain song, this passage sounds like Earth Crisis, "
etc, etc. I appreciate the band's hostility and musicianship.
