Gold Für Eisen
"Heimat"
(2001 Interregnum Musik)

By Wayne Klinger

One of the most unique bands I've come across from Germany since Loonatik, Blackend and Gotterdammerung. A trio that relies on war-like themes and controversial lyrics about humanity and death. The lyrics are in German and they purposely do that to keep the authenticity of their image to their conceptual music. The CD is 8 tracks that are mostly Metal/Hardcore and Thrash mixed but each song has different parts, be it spoken word or like a Folk-type atmosphere. The name of the band derives from the times of the Independence wars against Napoleon in 1813-1814. Any type of band influences is rather hard but I might throw something like Accept,Helmet and Rammstein in the mix but these guys are nothing in Metal that I have heard over the years with their style and ideas they have and a concept that no one has done that I know of. www.goldfurreisen.de interregnummusik@hotmail.com goldfurreisen@hotmail.com
