Final Tragedy |

This is a good progressive release that comes to us all the way from
France. The only problem that I have with this disc is the production.
There's a lot of potential here, but, it needs a crisp, clear sound so
people can really hear what's going on in the music. Plus, vocalist
Delphine Cochand seem buried in the backround. They should be brought
up
to the front some more. I know, it sounds like I'm tearing this release
to shreds, doesn't it? I really did enjoy listening to it and, like I
said, there's a lot of potential here. But, no matter how talented a
band is, you've gotta have the production to back it up. Think about
it...and, believe me, this has happened...you go out to see a band live
and they're one of the greatest bands you ever see. You pick up a disc,
bring it home and it just doesn't cut it because they sounded a lot
better live. I know finances play a major role in what people decide to
put out. But, you've gotta remember, you're making a part of
history...your history. Make sure it's something that you can be proud
of and make sure it's something that people will really enjoy listening
to. From a musical standpoint, this band has what it takes. I'd just
like to be able to hear it a little better.
