Filthy Thieving Bastards

Could someone put out a release worse than this? I doubt it. It sounds
like a bunch of drunks singing out-of-tune, with melodies so
predictable
I can air-drum the cymbal crashes on the first listen. The musicianship
is slightly better than the band that plays at your local pub for free,
just to get a gig. BYO Records is a great record label and they've sent
me tons of bands that I've loved. This one, though, makes me wonder
what
they're thinking. Could this be the same label that released Dead
Lazlo's Place?!? The hillbilly stomp of "Mountain Tomb" complete with
down-home off-key whiskey-laced vocals from Johnny Bonnel. The mandolin
and pedal guitar get old in the first 10 minutes of this CD. I don't
mind the instrument(s), but not when the output is crap like this.
