Critical Gopher, in my humble opinion, are critically dull, and critically untalented! They're a trio, who are basically a bunch of Pearl Jam/Helmet wannabees, and they fall way, way short, in every way! What a pathetic excuse for a band! Their "playing" sounds more like tuning up to these ears, and it's just a big, sloppy mess! Singer/guitarist Kevin isn't much of either; he's like a bad Eddie Vedder, and I don't even like Eddie Vedder! I can't think of any words of praise to say about the other two guys either (Bassist Jay and drummer Sean). These guys just haven't got it. They can't really play at all, they're as boring as hell, their songs all sound the same, they're really just a bad imitation of the aforementioned bands, and I don't think they're giving it a hundred percent! Very half assed! Very lame!  Very everything that sucks about rock these days! Avoid like the plague!
