Cable
|
| By
Paul Hanson
This is the type of CD that has the hard-edgedness that metal fans
want,
the pent-up angst of those that have been screwed by an ex-lover, and
the frustration of not being able to do anything about being screwed.
Cable bottled, packaged, and performed these emotions for this release,
which drags at some points just because it's generally hard for me to
be
angry for 45 minutes straight. Cable seems to understand that and
tosses
"Happy Accidents" into the mixture at the right time. A slower paced
rocker, the song allows whoever the hell is playing drums to nail some
well-rounded fills with his toms and snare.
