I won't live the lie,
will you? Neither will they. But they'll bitch about it more than you
can possibly imagine on this ripping new release wrought with
technically trained aggression. In the finest Skolnick speed killing
tradition, they churn through fourteen bruising, low slung cuts pasting
old school Hard-Core with Swedish savagery to make for something
completely noggin knocking. "Inner Peace" for starters offers none and
goes through this minute long shred that leaves you floored by the last
minute's play out which by this point doesn't matter-simply rips. With
meaty Prong-like chunks of heavy shred, bone dry tears it right to the
enamel with a slower, heavier, downright nastier cut built around
blood,
blessings and fucking. "Crucified," serves up no secrets here, letting
loose a double-bass fill and quake like reverb that carries a spiritual
bloodletting with it in a lyrically profound belief crushing sentiment.
File away your happy thoughts for an hour and let it all loose in this
lifetime's worth of chaos, concern, and consternation that erases all
doubt that our sole purpose in life is for anything but to suffer!
