I really hate getting releases such as this to review because it's a
style of music that I just can't seem to get into. The description in
the bio says it all, "What you will hear is a display of raw, eclectic
soundscapes expressed though usage of experimental technique." Music
such as this, in my opinion, is better used in movie soundtracks. But,
as far as listening to it just to listen to it, sorry, it's not for me.
I can give credit where credit is due...it's original and it sounds
better that some of the other stuff in this vein that I've heard. Plus,
there are some fine moments on here. The one that floated my boat was
"Freedom To Fly" because it had a harder edge to it. It's cool to have
a
musical vision, as in a case like this, and it's cool that something
such as this can find an audience, which is does...there's people who
go
for this sort of thing. But, I guess you'd have to be someone who gets
into this to really enjoy it. Personally, like I said, I'd think it's
cool if it was in a movie, but, I can't just put this on to listen to
it. One more thing...I'd call it mood music because it does strike up a
certain mood when you listen to it. I guess the best way to describe it
would be to take your imagination and put it to music. That's what you
get here.
