Very Metal
"Hit And Run "
(Beer City Records)

By Paul Autry

This is a very simple release to review for the simple fact that it's presented to you, the listener, in a way that's straight to the point and easy to understand. Make no mistake about it...this is straight forward, raw, aggressive punk thrash metal. Once you place this disc in your stereo, you'll rip through fourteen songs in less than a half an hour and your ass will be kicked before you even know what hit you. To quote that old Eddie Murphy comedy routine..."You'll put the needle back saying what the fuck did I just miss?" Eddie, of course, was talking about a James Brown record. But, we're talking about a Very Metal CD here and it's the same damn thing. This music takes you back to the time when punk was actually punk...not that watered down radio crap that you hear today. Need I mention who I'm talking about...nah, I don't think so. Besides, why waste the time when you've got a band like Very Metal that just blows it all away. This CD will give your stereo a workout and you can use those other so called punk releases for beer coasters. 'Nuff said! http://www.beercity.com
