The DCB Band
"Came In A Limo...Left In A Hearse"
(Sanco Records)

By Paul Autry

There's nothing too deep about The DCB Band and they don't pretend that there is. They offer up some straight forward, heavy and aggressive music. But, the thing that makes them different is that they add a sense of humor to what they're doing. When most people mention a party band, it's usually an 80's glam/rock band. It's never anybody heavy. Well, The DCB Band will change all that. These guys are all about giving you a good time and they're all about having a good time themselves while they're doing it. On this, their second release, the band comes at you like a ton of bricks and they give you a good, hard, metal beating. But, on songs like "Mens Night Out, "Filth" and "20 Beers Later," you tend to forget that you're hearing some heavy ass music and you end up enjoying the weird sense of humor that the band has. But, there's no room for fun and games when it comes to actually making the music...these guys are totally serious about that. This album is well worth getting, but, the only way you'll ever really appreciate this band is to see them live. That's when the band is in all their glory. Their previous album, "928lbs. Of Filth," is worth looking into as well, especially for the song "300 Sloppy Cocks" and the on air radio interview that really shows the personality of the band...it's quite humorus. One band, one name you need to remember, The DCB Band...more fun than a sloppy wet fart! http://www.dcbfilthcore.com
