It's sad when I get a release such as this and there's only four songs
on it. Yes, I know there's numerous tings to take into consideration.
But, damn it, I wanna hear more. Lucubro is heavy rock with a sludge
metal underlining (as it states in the bio). I've got a better way to
put it...imagine Black Sabbath with a female vocalist. The first two
songs lumber along with a thick and heavy groove. Track three comes on
and this one's just smokin', still thick and heavy, but, it's a little
more...for a lack of a better word...upbeat. The final track is the
same
way. With the first two songs...the train has left the station. With
the
second two, it's a full blown runaway train. That should paint a pretty
little picture for you. My only complaint here was that the production
could've been touched up a bit. Other than that, you know what else I'd
say? This is a band that's worth keeping your eye on because I think
they're gonna go somewhere.
