With a name like Heavy Guitar, I guess it doesn't take much of a genius to figure out what kind of music you're gonna hear on this release. If you said heavy, guitar driven music, well, you win the bonus round. But, here's a little more information for you. Heavy Guitar is a duo based out of France and, okay, you know I'm gonna say it...I'm not really one for instrumental music. But, these guys present themselves rather well. The CD features four songs and if you pop it into your computer, you can check out their bio, a few pictures, stuff like that. I really wish more bands would start doing this. Who really needs a press kit when you can slap everything on a disc with your music. Doesn't that make sense to you? Anyway, these guys can play, there's no question about it. Personally, I'd like to see their talents put to good use in a full band setting. But, that's just me...I think they could go farther that way. But, you know, there's a whole other scene out there that embraces the guitar instrumental album and, from what I heard, these guys should do pretty well out there. http://www.heavyguitars.free.fr
