Edenbridge
"Arcana"
(Lazer's Edge)

By Paul Autry

How can you not like this band? They've got everything within their music that you could possibly ask for. They've got power and progression, a huge sound that comes through your speakers crystal clear...the production is damn near perfect. Plus, they've got a female vocalist. Now, I don't know about you, but, I haven't heard too many woman doing music like this and, honestly, I like it. No, wait, let me rephrase that...I love it. Now, yes, I can admit, there's a lot of bands out there doing this style of music, but, with a male vocalist. It's good music, I'm not saying it isn't. But, with Edenbridge, the vocals of Sabine Edelsbacher gives this musical style a whole new dimension...it takes you to a whole new world. On top of that, you've got a band of musicians who have mastered their craft to perfection. When you combine those two elements, you have one large, unstoppable musical force. I could listen to this release, as well as their previous effort, the equally fantastic "Sunrise In Eden," for hours and hours and not get bored with it. There's a lot of substance in the music of Edenbridge and if it's quality that you're looking for, well, you don't have to look any further because Edenbridge has what you want. Not many bands can match what they're doing and what they've accomplished on these two releases. Check 'em out now...you'll thank yourself for it. http://www.edenbridge.org
