Wayne Klinger This is totally new. Started back in July of this year,VLE is something that
isn't done on an everyday basis. Curious? Well, I sure was! VLE is an
experimentation and soundscape project utilizing improvisational techniques.
This is supposed to be part of a trilogy of releases and it's downright
interesting to give a starting point to anyone under the age of 25 since my
knowledge goes back quite a few years. No, I'm not being cocky but alot of
people may not of ever heard of Paul Chain or Death SS for that matter out of
Italy. Paul Chain did some 7"s and solo releases using phonetics and
atmospheres while playing guitar as well; VLE does this too but more emphasis
on the atmosphere. I would give other examples of atmosphere with some of the
bands you find on Cold Meat Industry, a label out of Sweden and Chicago's
Projekt label with Darkwave/Ambient bands as well. Now the tracks "Behold the
Night..." and "Timeless" have the Black Metal vocal thing going on and you
cannot pick up what is said or if there's anything said.....that's why I
mentioned phonetics earlier since Paul Chain is the only guy I know of that
does that. Quite a listening experience and great arrangements; the
