Wayne Klinger It didn't take long for this Maryland "stoner rock' band to get signed after
a successful indie release of "Ultra Electric" off Colorado's Game Two
Records after being discovered almost 5 years ago. SWS has found a home with
Spitfire and adds an even more flare to their growing roster of bands and
genres they seek out that e in no means "one dimensional" for the listener.
"Seed of Decades" continues SWS's successful use of groove-laiden "fuzzy"
sound like that of Orange Goblin or anything off the Meteor City label as
well as maybe Kyuss and Windigo fans. The only difference with this release
is more added heaviness and the maturity level of the songwriting that boosts
the band into their own identity and continues the tradition of the lost
artform that was a huge buzz in the late 70's-early 80's with Witchfynder
General and Pentagram to name a couple. www.sixtywattshaman.com www.spitfirerecords.com
