Paul Autry A lot of material comes across my desk and since I write numerous CD reviews
a day, there's times when everything becomes a blur. I write about this, I
write about that and it all starts becoming, shall we say, routine. But,
salvation usually comes in the form of an album that catches my attention
because it's so good, it breaks the normal routine of what I'm doing. A good
example is Mini Void's eleven song release, "Readjust." Now, I can't say that
they're really doing anything different in terms of musical styles. But, this
release was solid through and through and each song seemed to have a life of
its own. Very straight forward, aggressive, in your face, rock 'n' roll.
Personally, this is the kind of music I look for...an album that I can enjoy
from begining to end. They remind me of Pennsylvania's Stept On in a way.
A really good band worth paying attention to. If you wanna
pay attention...and I'm sure you will...be sure to check out the Mini
Void interview in the Voice Of The Underground section of this web page.
It's quite an interesting read. I know...I read it before typing up
this review. http://www.minivoid.com
