Chris Forbes Well at least I got a whole cd to review this time. What we have here is a
neat combo of black metal along with some synthesizers thrown in. The band
can still whip out songs a million miles an hour, though not it is more
controlled. The vocals are still the same black metal style, though they have
a new guy Vintersorg. His voice works for me. The band stray from their black
metal roots on some songs, but it is still Borknagar. Give this new release a
chance and go in with an open mind.
