Vile Beat Records is thoroughly irritated and annoyed to have to bring you "New & Tasty," the debut from Washington DC's Day Care Swindlers. This source of discontent comes from the fact that the Day Care Swindlers will sell so many freakin' records that we'll have to do some real work around here. The band is seriously that good!

The Day Care Swindlers play punk the way it sounds best; aggressive, fast and melodic. The Swindlers blend DC hardcore, Jimmy Cliff, The New Bomb Turks, Dick Dale and the Descendants into a speedy junk drawer of punk idiocy and fresh faced American fun. What is immediately striking on their debut is the way the Swindlers play simultaneously with an intense recklessness as well as a welcome creativity, sounding like they could crash into insanity at any moment. Fronted by the mohawked sweaty toothed Noah, the Swindlers play venues as diverse as DC's nationally known 9:30 Club as well as, in true punk style, basements with sweating sewer mains running overhead.
