Eulcid
"The Wind Blew All The Fires Out"
Second Nature Records

Euclid

First things first...it's pronounced Eulcid (Yule-sid) and hailing from Boston, being constantly surrounded by influential peers such as Cave In and other various Hydra Head Associates has definitely played a part in the shaping of Eulcid. (Hey! Side note: Matt also played in Kid Kilowatt). Not really so much in their style or sound (because quite frankly, if you didn't know better, you'd think Eulcid were from Washington D.C. circa 1990-1995) but, in their love for writing and playing music. In true punk rock ethic, Eulcid went broke and bought a van and toured on merely a demo with Cave In and Ire in 1998. Shortly after, in March on 1999, they released "The Crane" EP on Undecided Records and now, after a handful of compilation appearances, most notably Second Nature Recordings Sampler, "This Changes Everything," they are ready to hit the road yet again in support of their new record, "The Wind Blew All The Fires Out," which any record label releasing a record will tell you, is their best material to date. Enjoy.
