"Dying From The Inside"

Simply the heaviest band to blast out of rural England, Ross-on-Wye to be precise. Formed a little over 5 years ago the band are true to their hard graft ethics as ever, despite holding down day jobs, in a part of the country fairly devoid of gigging activity, they often arrive back home in time for work the next day.

In the early days the band produced well recieved quality demos, earning them respect and regular gigs on an underground level. Following a tour with NEUK, from which they were thrown off for blowing away the main act, the band found themselves at the Red Eye venue in London and it was here that Household Name discovered the band, where they found themselves confronted with a sound akin to Discharge kicking into Conflict. and the ideas were laid out that night for what became the "All Our Friends Are Dead" seven inch single, still a huge live favorite, the single also became Single of the Week in the prestigious Kerrang Magazine.

Tours again ensued, Strapping Young Lad and then Logical Nonsense followed by the UK Destruction with Iron Monkey and Misery Loves Co. The band didn't let up as they then toured with Entombed and Skinlab and then released the split "From ONe Extreme To Another" with Freebase for Blackfish Records. Again, this was excellently recieved and good press ensued, culminating in the offer to open up for Soulfly for their UK dates. The band then wisely took a period off the road to re-charge the batteries and begin writing album #2.

During this period the band looked at the possibility of moving labels, feeling they needed to move somewhere closer to their thinking and in keeping with their hard work ethos, this they found in fast rising UK Label Copro, and within a few meetings and a slap up meal, a deal was cut. Holed up in Philla Studios for most of the month of March with headmaster Dave Chang (earthtone9, Orange Goblin, Linea77, Stamping Ground) at the production helm has meant the band has pushed themselves further than even they thought possible. When Copro came down on the final mix day, help was needed to pull the guys back from the wall they had been catapulted into after their first listen of the final cut, it was safe to say the label was chuffed.

So prepare yourself to check out the new Nocte instalment "Dying From The Inside"
