Solace's heavy groovecore fits perfectly alongside contemporary melodic hard rock such as Tool, Sevendust, The Deftones and Korn while remaining influenced by the classics like Grand Funk Railroad and Deep Purple. Often tagged as stoner rock, Solcace combine the brooding vocal melodies and angst that dominate rock radio with the raw power and effortless Hendrix style jamming.

A major onstage presence since 1997, Solace wailed at last August's Stoner Heads Of Doom Festival in Virginia and at the South Carolina 96.1 Wave FM HVYFST in October. Their prior releases, a European seven inch and the "Jersey Devils" double EP (with fellow Garden State export Solarized) have both received enthusiastic critical acclaim.

Solace also features former members of widely recognized Jersey metal act Godspeed.
