And with new album, "Fistful Of Hate," Pro-Pain once again push the proverbial envelope, delivering arguably their most intense and focused album to date.
From the very first note of album opener "Can You Feel It," "Fistful Of Hate" is a mammoth recording that speaks highly of the musical aptitude that has long come to symbolize this continuously popular metal/hardcore band. It equally addresses the current emotional reality that has come to every American in these post 9/11 times. Formed by Meskil (ex-Crumbsuckers), Pro-Pain released their NAIRD nominated debut "Foul Taste Of Freedom" in 1992. The album was an instant success and has since soundscanned over 60,000 units. Successive albums, "The Truth Hurts" (1994), "Contents Under Pressure" (1996) and "Pro-Pain" (1998) saw equally impressive sales growth, breaking 100,000 combined US sales. European sales to date add another 300,000 across the band's extensive catalog confirming their popularity and fan accollades. Pro-Pain's unwavering dedication has earned them a reputation as being one of hard music's hardest working bands.
