Shock Machine

shockmachine

Shockmachine was founded by Helloween bassist Markus Grosskopf in 1990. As Helloween were at this time not allowed to perform live for legal reasons, four friends from Hamburg, Germany had the idea to start this project. They wanted to be in the position to play live as soon as possible so as not to get rusty. In Olli Lugosi, a singer was found who gave the band, with his dirty rough voice, the right character. In Rolli Feldmann, they found a guitarist who knew what it was all about from the start. (Olli and Rolli both played together in Doc Eisenhauer). At the time with Ingo Schwichtenberg on the drums, the boys were quickly ready to perform gigs under their former band name Mr. Prooster. They appeared at the "Grope Freiheith 36," the Hamburg Rock Spectacle in City Hall Square, at Knust and The Raiders Club, etc. When Helloween started up again, it was now the turn of Shockmachine to take a break. However, they never forgot their dream to continue the project when the time was right...and I am telling you NOW the time has come for Shockmachine!
