Allan's "About Five Seconds" is 11 tracks of the hardest and most intense music we've ever heard. We're not going to bore you with typical bio crap like where the members came from, their mom's name or their former bands. Let's just say they all fail in comparison to what they're doing now. Combining elements of hardcore, noise, jazz, rock, tribal and Latin beats, Allan's sound can be described as open, inventive, creative and, of course, heavy. Trying anything to get their musical point across, they've utilized everything from simple sound effects to noise and electronics while still maintaining their foundation of heavy grooves and sheer intensity. In just under a year, Allan managed to jump to the top of Pittsburg's hardcore scene. An earlier version of the song "Burn Through" was featured on Da' Core's "Steel City Aggression Volume 2" and helped spawn the creation of the Allan monster. Catching the ears of many national and local magazines, in combination with their intense live performances and regional touring, has given them the opportunity to share the stage with some great national acts. They have gained an almost instant respect in the scene and with every show, the band watches their audience grow along with their music. It's about time that a Pittsburg hardcore band knocks down the national doors and there is no doubt that Allan has the battering ram!
